Waitangi
Passenger Index 1878
This is the index of passengers on the WAITANGI to Lyttelton from Plymouth as transcribed from the photocopies of the immigrant mannifest at Archives New Zealand - Christchurch Regional Office. The accession reference is IM-CH4/166. It is ordered in pretty much the same way in the original document. This is an edited transcript in that I have filled out abbreviated names and added indicators for families of solo parents and to those I found hard to decipher. If you find you can improve the accuracy of some particular detail, I really would like to hear from you.
